Life goes on after Graduation

Well Hello. Just wanted to share some things that I've been up to lately. Life goes on after graduation.

This is a short 2-page comic explaining a magic trick. It will eventualy appear in a book about newspapers.



The 23rd of March The Stalinski's (my sister and me) will be at the Kunst Strip Beurs in Utrecht. I'll make a big post about about that soon.
Besides being scared of all the other talented participants, we're also very busy preparing. I try to finish my zine about Women working out. It is a zine/colouringbook all in one!

  

These drawings I try to do every week. Just loose details that I encoutered that week. Not that my life is super exciting or interesting, it is more about documenting.
Talking about documenting... Sometimes I feel my life is a mess and I need to organize it (I guess everybody feels like that once in a while). Might turn it into my next personal project... Well, this illustration could be part of it. I analyzed (well, counted) how my facebookfriends are divided haircolour-wise.

Het examen nadert

Over een paar weken moet ik examen doen en daarom wordt mijn to-do lijst steeds voller en mijn dagen langer. Dit zijn wat stukjes uit een strip waar ik aan werk.

Old stuff

While cleaning and organising my room, I came across a lot of old sketches, modeldrawings and other things from the past years. Some were actually quite nice/funny/had pretty colours. So i scanned them and then threw the originals away.

De afgelopen week heb ik een korte strip gemaakt over hoe mijn leven er uit zou kunnen zien in de toekomst (met het eindexamen in het vooruitzicht groeit de angst voor wat er daarna komt...). Het is een strip over 'mij' als ik geen strips zou maken later. verder is het een vrij saai verhaal over het dagelijks leven. Eigenlijk was het gewoon een excuus om iets met viltstiften te maken, met (te) veel kleur en soms op het randje van lelijk.. ;)

Last week, I made a short comic about what my life could look like in the future. It is a comic about me not making comics but having a regular job ;) It is kind of a boring story about everyday life. 

actualy I was just looking for an excuse to use some markers, and make something realy (too) colourfull.
